Below are the members of the various Transition Teams and their respective roles.
My name is Kim Barton. I have been a member of Trinity since the day I was born. I was baptized and had my confirmation here. Throughout my childhood, I attended Sunday School, and was a member of the Jr. choir and the Young People’s Fellowship. My husband and I were married at Trinity and both of my children were baptized here. When my children were younger, I volunteered in the nursery on Sunday mornings and taught Vacation Bible School each summer. I am currently serving a second term on the Vestry. In addition to being on the Vestry, I am a counter, an usher, and I am on the Outreach Committee.
I began attending in 2004, after the birth of the first of my 2 sons, and started on Vestry in 2007. I chair both the Evangelism Committee and the Altar Guild and am a member of the Trustees. As an active member of this parish, I am looking forward to the future as we search for a new rector to help us grow in our faith and spirituality during these distressing times.
I’ve been a member of Trinity Episcopal Church for approximately 12 years. I am on the Altar Guild and have served on the Vestry, off and on, for 7 years. I am a Eucharistic visitor bringing communion to the home bound. I am a newly elected warden of the Church.
I am a cradle Episcopalian and first worshiped at Trinity Church when my family moved to Seymour when I was 3 years old. Since then my life has taken twists and turns and I always end up back ‘home’ at Trinity. Jim and I were married 33 years ago at Trinity and our 2 children were baptized here. I am presently a choir member, Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Vestry member, transition team member, counter, occasional coffee hour host and at one point was proud to serve as Parish Secretary. I look forward to what the future holds for Trinity and am blessed to share in worship and fellowship with my Trinity family.
